During construction, we coordinate with local jurisdictions for permit review and manage contractor relations. Method DC will procure all materials unless otherwise specified. The project start date is determined by the construction contract, design completion, and availability of products and labor. All work will be executed to industry standards and as outlined in the design documents. Method DC will oversee all construction processes, including managing subcontractors, ensuring quality, and adhering to schedules. Any additional design support will be billed hourly as needed.
Organized Drawings & Technical Documents for Construction
Generate production oriented drawings and documents suitable for Contractor pricing. During this phase we finalize technical details, coordinate components, specify and identify all selected products and materials necessary to complete the project per the agreed upon work scope through detailed elevations, dimensions, and notes to provide the trades with the information they need to complete their work effectively.
Owner must sign Construction Agreement and provide deposit based on Phase 2 Preliminary Estimate to proceed to Phase 5
Finalize Details & Complete Project Scope
The Method Design team will finalize materials, selections, layouts, and details to generate written and graphic documents that establish the design criteria for construction of the project and construction cost estimating.Develop design documents for the project work scope detailing material selections, sizes, layouts, orientation, location, and other necessary information for construction with intent to have all materials, finishes, and details finalized before construction begins, allowing the construction process to streamline.
Concept Development & Layout Options
Initiate contract via Design Agreement, Owner provides a retainer as specified in the contract. Collaborate with the design team to develop a working floor plan based on concept and lifestyle images which support your vision and goals. Review and revise layouts to a singular plan and work scope for desired results. A detailed estimate for construction will be generated based on the initial agreed upon design and technical criteria.
General Scope of Work & Rough Dimensions Method DC will conduct pre construction discovery through discussion, review of images, and / or job-walk to develop a project summary, vision, and goals. Estimate a preliminary budget based on the project size and anticipated level of design elements.

The truth is; usually three to eight months or more depending on the size and complexity of your project as well as material availability. We work our process in order to perform your project on an effective timeline while producing high level of quality and finish. Things take time to do well.
